These terms govern your engagement with Just Twist Studios. By booking a session or commissioning services, you agree to these terms in full.

Booking and Deposit

• A non-refundable deposit of 60 percent of the total package price is required to confirm your booking and secure your date exclusively.
• Your date is not confirmed until the deposit is received and acknowledged in writing.
• Payment details will be provided at the time of booking confirmation.
• The remaining 40 percent balance is due before any files, galleries or deliverables are released. No exceptions.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please refer to our full Cancellation Policy for detailed terms. Deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances. Cancellations within 14 days of the event forfeit all payments made.

Deliverables and Timelines

• Standard edited galleries are delivered within three weeks of the session.
• High-end Photoshop retouched images take several hours per image and are delivered separately, typically within one to two weeks of the main gallery.
• Rush delivery under seven days is available for GHS 1,200.
• Timelines may extend during peak seasons. We will communicate any delays promptly.

Copyright and Licensing

Just Twist Studios retains full copyright of all photographs and films produced. What clients receive is a licence to use the work. The scope of that licence depends on the type of booking. These principles apply equally to still images and motion content.

• Personal use licence: Included with all portrait, editorial, pre-wedding, wedding and traditional ceremony packages. Permits unlimited personal use of photographs and films including printing, framing, screening at private gatherings, sharing on social media and other personal contexts. Does not include commercial use, paid promotion, brand sponsorship or resale.
• Non-exclusive commercial licence: Included with food, product, brand and commercial packages, whether photography or film. Covers business use of the work within Ghana, including websites, menus, social media, online listings, in-store materials, standard digital advertising and organic content distribution.
• Extended commercial use: Billboards, packaging, broadcast television, paid advertising campaigns, international territories, exclusive licences and full buyouts are quoted separately per project based on scope, reach and duration of use. This applies to both stills and motion.
• Studio portfolio rights: The studio reserves the right to use all photographs and films for portfolio, website and social media purposes unless a confidentiality agreement has been signed before the shoot.
• Public figures and influencers: If you intend to use work from a personal session for commercial purposes such as paid promotion, brand sponsorship or content monetisation, please notify the studio before the shoot so the licence can be adjusted accordingly.

Model Release and Likeness

Photography and film commissions often involve recording the likeness of people in addition to the paying client. This includes family, friends, guests, employees, models, customers and members of the public who appear in the work.

• By engaging Just Twist Studios, the client warrants that they have the authority to permit photography and filming at the event or location, and that they have or will obtain any consents required from individuals appearing in the work.
• For commercial commissions involving identifiable talent, models or featured individuals, the client is responsible for securing signed model releases unless this has been specifically agreed as part of the studio's scope.
• The studio will treat all reasonable post-shoot requests from identifiable individuals to be excluded from the studio's portfolio with sensitivity and good faith. Such requests should be communicated in writing to hello@justtwist.studio.
• For minors appearing in commissioned work, the consent of a parent or legal guardian is required and the client is responsible for obtaining it.

Additional Photographers and Travel

• Additional photographer fees are GHS 1,800 per photographer per day.
• Travel within Greater Accra is included in all packages.
• Travel to other regions of Ghana starts from GHS 2,000 and is quoted by distance and overnight requirements.
• International travel is quoted separately and reflects international market rates for flights, accommodation, daily rate and per diem. All international travel prices are subject to change based on destination, availability and exchange rates at time of booking.

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, Just Twist Studios will offer rescheduling at no charge. If rescheduling is not possible, fees paid beyond the non-refundable deposit will be returned.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes will be resolved first through good-faith negotiation and, if necessary, through the courts of Ghana.
