Commercial food and product photography is a different discipline from portrait work. It is slower, more controlled, and more technically demanding. The lighting is built from scratch for each shot. High-End Retouching
A professionally edited image is clean, well-exposed and colour-corrected. A retouched image is something else entirely. It is the same photograph after someone has spent several hours working on skin texture, light, shadow detail, background, colour depth and the many small things your eye notices but your brain cannot always name.
This is the level at which beauty brands, fashion labels and high-end publications expect their images to be delivered. The work is time-intensive and precise. If you want your photographs to sit next to any image made anywhere in the world and hold their own, this is how that happens.
Each retouched image is delivered separately from your main gallery. One round of revision is included. Additional revisions are GHS 150 per image. Standalone retouching is available for images shot elsewhere.

When images and films will be used commercially, how they are used affects what they are worth. This is why serious commercial work, both photography and film, is licensed rather than sold outright. The studio retains copyright on every image and every piece of footage we produce. What we license to you depends on the project.
Personal Use
Portrait and Wedding Clients
All portrait, editorial, pre-wedding, wedding and traditional ceremony packages include an unlimited personal use licence covering both photographs and any films delivered as part of the package. You can print your images, share your wedding film, post on social media, send to family, do whatever you want with them personally.
Personal use does not include commercial use, paid promotion, brand sponsorships, broadcast, monetised content or resale. If you are a public figure or influencer and want your wedding film or portrait images for commercial use, we will discuss that during your planning call.
Commercial Use
Brand, Product and Food Clients
Food, product, brand and commercial film packages include a non-exclusive commercial use licence for your business. This covers your website, menus, social media, online listings, in-store materials, standard digital advertising and short-form video content for the territory of Ghana, valid for one year from delivery unless agreed otherwise.
Extended uses such as billboards, packaging, broadcast and television advertising, cinema commercials, international campaigns, exclusive licences, multi-year use or full buyouts of either photographs or films are quoted per project based on scope, territory and duration of use.
Why It Matters
A clear licence protects both of us.
A licence makes sure the studio can continue producing work at this standard, and it makes sure you know exactly what you are paying for and exactly what you can do with the images or films. If you ever need to expand your usage beyond what was originally licensed, just come back to us. That is what a good studio relationship looks like.
Film and video carry the same licensing principles as photography. A brand video built for social media has a different value to the same film cut for broadcast television or international YouTube advertising. Tell us upfront how you intend to use the work and we will scope and license it correctly.
